In health, specifically, the paradigm shifted when the need for diagnosis faced the dilemma of physical contact. That's when the solution appeared: teleconsultation. By telephone or video, both the SNS and the large private groups rushed to make remote diagnosis possible.
But it soon became apparent, and we continue to see it, that both sectors have structural, organisational and market relations difficulties.
We need to learn to walk, and to do this we need to innovate, with new requirements, different solutions and other formats of care, prioritising proximity, follow-up, relationships with patients and an affordable cost.
